Our professional nursing team also administers medications, as well as other services such as urinary catheter insertion and care, venipuncture and administration of IV fluids or medication, as well as changing dressings.
Physical Therapy
Our helpful and friendly physical therapists help our clients alleviate chronic pain and restore functionality brought about by injury or illness. Our physical therapists provide personalized assistance to ensure that our clients regain or maintain strength, balance, as well as coordination so that they will be able to move easier and move independently.
Home Health Aide (HHA) Assistance
Our certified home health aides (HHA) deliver top-notch assistance to the elderly, to people who have disabilities, chronic illnesses, or cognitive impairments. Our home health aides assist our clients by monitoring their vital signs and help keep track of their symptoms. They also oversee the administration of prescribed medication to ensure that our clients take them at the right time, and prepare healthy meals as prescribed by a dietician. They also assist with bathing, dressing, as well as grooming. They also help with running errands, performing household chores, as well as accompanying clients to doctor’s appointments. All these, and more, are done with the unique brand of compassionate care that PSS Home Care is known for.
Personal Care Assistance
Our dutiful personal care assistants, also referred to as home attendants, provide excellent daily living assistance to our clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal hygiene activities. They also perform light house cleaning, cooking, and laundry, among others. On top of these, they also accompany clients to doctor’s appointments, as well as shop for groceries, pay bills, and do other valuable tasks to ensure that they are living comfortably and happily at home.
Homemaker or Companion Assistance
Our helpful homemakers or companions ensure that the basic needs of our clients — whether they are the elderly or are currently dealing with or are recovering from illnesses or injuries — are well taken care of. They maintain a safe and clean environment for our clients by performing various housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, dishwashing, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathrooms. They also prepare meals according to instructions, and provide great companionship for our clients — from accompanying clients on walks, short trips to social activities, to engaging with them through fun conversations.
Housekeeping
Our hardworking housekeepers will help keep your home tidy and spotless. They assist our clients by performing a variety of household chores such as dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, sweeping and mopping up floors, vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs, and cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers and bathtubs. They are also in charge of making beds and changing linens, doing the laundry and ironing clothing items, as well as emptying trash receptacles and disposing wastes.
Personal Care Workers
Personal Care Workers (also called Home Attendants) help only with basic activities of daily living and cannot perform the health care functions of home health aides. They offer valuable services, including bathing, dressing, grooming, making patients more comfortable at home, shopping, paying bills, doing laundry, and taking you or your loved one to medical appointments.
